THE TOP 5 RECOMMENDED PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TOOLS TO CREATE THE LIFE YOU LOVE | L.I.F.E

I believe it's extremely important for you to use tools in your life to help you gain your desired lifestyle outcome. Because as much as you think you could go alone, you can't grow alone.

There are personal growth tools that can be used to help you grow - some self-development tools you use on your own and some you should use with others. This mix gives you the opportunity to figure out what's working for you and then have others help you along the way.

A person that's intentional in their personal development is willing to stretch themselves and get out of their comfort zone and look for the things that will expand their mind, expand their lives, expand everything about them.

People who feel that they understand everything and want to stay in their comfort zone area will find that their lack of flexibility will hurt them in the long run. So with that being said let's jump into the 5 must-have tools for personal growth.

The 5 must-have tools in 2023 to develop your mind, spirit, body and soul to get you where you want to be

All of the tools that I recommend are tools that I have used and use now and have tried and true results over many, many years, and not just for myself, but for others as well. The idea of having tools at your disposal, whether they be on a personal level, with a group or with a coach or an app - either way, you need to give yourself a measurable way to grow and have metrics, in some cases, as a way of valuing how far you've gone.

Tool 1: These personal mastery books

Here are some of my favorite books. Each book has developed me and many others in a way that's revolutionized the way I live my life. In addition to the book, I've listed a few reasons why I highly recommend you read each selected book.

The 4 Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

- The Four Agreements is a very short, concise book that gives you four things to apply in your life. For me, my ‘aha moment’ was to not take anything personally. At that moment, I was given permission to not have to feel like I have to carry the world on my shoulders- which held me back for many years.

Becoming Magic by Genevieve Davis

Becoming Magic by Genevieve Davis is a book that allowed me to recognize the brokenness in how I view situations and outcomes and to change these views and the emotions I built into them. Using myself as an example, throughout my business ventures I was always emotionally tied to the results and as a result, always looking for validation for the end game, and when it didn't happen as I thought, I was devastated. As a result of learning and indulging myself in Genevieve's book, I recognize that something's happened for a reason and I have to change and allow those events to help me evolve along the way.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Every year I pick up this book I find a few new nuggets that have helped me immensely. Hill wrote this original book in 1937. And its concepts are just as important today, as they were over 85 years ago. So for me, your journey into an abundant mindset starts with your thinking.

What this book is teaching us is the more you think, in the right way, the more things will happen for you and through you instead of happening to you. It has given me a greater amount of self-awareness as to when things are happening around me. This self-awareness has led to my growth in every aspect of my life personally, financially, relationally and professionally.

Outwitting The Devil by Napoleon Hill

  • Outwitting the Devil, is a book that came even though it was written a year after thinking Grow Rich was not released until 2011. His concepts was so radical back then, that his friends and family employed him not to publish the book almost 75 years later, and many years after he and his wife had passed away. Napoleon Hill final foundation finally decided to release the book, with renowned author Shannon Lectora. Adaptations throughout the book, adding great value if you're like me, when you're reading this book, you will wonder whether hill made up the story of speaking to the devil whether it actually happened. That's how compelling His writing is.

In this book, The Devil shows Napoleon Hill how having a drifting mindset is the work of the devil and if you can keep if you can develop a mindset of intent, you can outwit the devil and have everything you want in your life. A drifting mindset is somebody who does not have intent. They allow, they allow other things to stop them. It could be it could be distraction, it could be their own self lack of self worth, which is the devil coming into play and say that you're not good enough? It's the Gremlin within you.

Why reading books is critical for you and the best way to read books if you're busy (like me!)

Every person is always on a journey of learning, whether they want to admit it or not. When you embrace that you are constantly learning, you will be on a mission to find something to feed that desire to learn. I, personally, love to read personal mastery books, or as is a typical way to refer to them, self-help books. Self-help books are a great way to fan the internal flame with limited distractions (no notifications, dings, or red alerts). You can make it a daily habit, or ritual, to read at least 15 minutes a day.

Tool 4: Masterminds

In this section, discuss the tools - why its being recommended and the pros and challenges of using the tool for the specific end goal.

Masterminds are best for expanding your ideas within a group of like-minded individuals.
The best Masterminds are led by a facilitator who directs the conversation and keeps everyone engaged and involved.

The purpose of Masterminds, how you or other people can use Masterminds to get the most out of your personal development promiseThe concept of masterminds goes back centuries to great people like Benjamin Franklin. The modern day mastermind finds its origins with people like Napoleon Hill about 100 years ago.

There are many Masterminds out there, not all of them are good. If you’re interested in joining a mastermind, it’s best to speak with the facilitator of the mastermind to determine the mastermind's objective, length of time, how often they meet and for how long, size of group, and investment. In my experience, the really good and great masterminds are worth every penny you invest and more.

Tool 5: Having a coach or coaches

The benefits of having a good coach are fantastic. For the person that wants to grow personally in every aspect of their life, a good coach can make the difference with permanent results for the person committed to the process. The job of the coach is to ask questions, listen, support, be objective, brainstorm and hold you accountable. In today’s world most successful people have at least one coach in their life at all times. Many people have multiple coaches who focus on different areas of growth for the individual.

So there are many types of coaches out there. There are business coaches, there are personal coaches, and there are mindset coaches. There are health coaches. There are wealth coaches. There are entrepreneur coaches, there are anything that you want ADHD, ADD different things for women's health, whatever you want, you could find a coach in that area. And the beauty about those people, if they're good coaches, they've experienced it, so they get what you're going through.H2: More on Personal Development
